Introduction

At Brixly, we prioritize the security and integrity of your email communications. To ensure that our servers are not used for sending out spam or malicious emails, we have implemented Imunify Email's outbound SPAM protection. This article will guide you on how to use the cPanel interface to manage and release emails from quarantine.

Accessing Imunify Email in cPanel

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Under the Security section, click on Imunify360.
  3. Navigate to the Email tab.

Understanding the Quarantine Tab

Once you're in the Imunify360 Email interface, you'll notice the Quarantine tab. This is where emails that are flagged as potentially harmful or malicious are stored.

For each quarantined email, you have the following options:

  • Release & Send: If you believe an email is mistakenly flagged (a false positive), you can release it, allowing it to be sent.
  • Delete: Permanently remove the email from quarantine.
  • View Email: View the content of the email, including its body and header.

How to Release a Message from Quarantine

  1. Navigate to the Quarantine tab.
  2. Browse through the list and locate the email you wish to release.
  3. Click on the Release & Send option for that email. The email will be released from quarantine and sent to its intended recipients.

Important Notes:

  • Always be cautious when releasing emails. Ensure that you recognize the sender and content before releasing any email.
  • In the current version of Imunify Email, notifications are not sent when deleting or releasing an email. This feature is expected in future releases.

The Combined Power of Imunify Email and MailChannels

  • Server-Side Security with Imunify Email: Before an email even leaves our servers, Imunify Email scans and quarantines potential threats. This ensures that harmful content doesn't get sent out, protecting both the sender and the recipient.

  • Enhanced Deliverability with MailChannels: Once an email passes Imunify Email's checks, it's relayed via MailChannels. This tool specializes in ensuring that your legitimate emails aren't mistakenly flagged as spam by recipients' email services. It achieves this by continuously monitoring delivery metrics and adapting to the ever-evolving landscape of email delivery.

Conclusion

Managing your quarantined emails is straightforward with the cPanel interface of Imunify Email. By following the steps above, you can ensure that legitimate emails reach their intended recipients while keeping potential threats at bay.
