Our Public Cloud servers are provided on the acceptance of the following terms. These terms are mandatorily accepted as part of using the facility.
- Post-Pay billing is available to all customers, and is free to activate.
- We reserve the right to request additional verification, such as a copy of a utility bill, before activating Post-Pay billing.
- We reserve the right to request the funds are added to your credit balance before activating Post-Pay billing.
- We reserve the right to suspend, or null any Post-Pay billing account at any time.
- Once activated, you will be able to view your billing usage and usage on the Cloud Servers page.
- Billing is calculated on an hourly basis, and is rounded up to the nearest hour. You will be billed for the full hour, even if you only use the server for a few minutes.
- Invoices will be raised on the 1st of each month, and will be due for payment within 5 days.
- Payment can be made by credit or debit card or PayPal - Direct Debit is available, but is not recommended due to the clearance time.
- Invoices overdue by 5 days will lead to the account being locked, preventing control of the servers.
- Invoices overdue by 7 days will lead to the account being suspended, at which point we reserve the right to terminate all server data.
- We will not be able to provide or grant extensions to invoices for post-pay billing.
- Limits may be applied to the servers to prevent abuse of the service. These limits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by our support department.
- Backups are available at a surcharge of 20% of the monthly cost of the server.
- Virtual Machines which have been terminated or removed, cannot be restored from backups. Backups are available and usable during the duration of the VM being active.
- Dedicated IP addresses are available at a surcharge of £2.50 per month.
- Optional Support and management is available at a surcharge of £39.95 per month. Servers by default will be 'unmanaged'.
- We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
- We reserve the right to enforce additional account verification or validation at any time.
- Whilst we make every effort to ensure IP addresses provisioned are clear of blacklists, we cannot guarantee this. We will not be held responsible for any issues caused by blacklisted IP addresses.
- Servers are still charged for even if they are offline, due to the fact the resources are pre-allocated to your cloud instances.
