Registrar Lock, also known as Domain Lock, is a security feature that prevents unauthorized domain transfers. Here's how you can enable or disable this feature for your non-UK domains through the Brixly Client Area:

Step 1: Accessing the Domain Management Area

  • Log in to the Brixly Client Area.
  • Navigate to the 'Domains' section.
  • Click on 'Manage' next to the domain you wish to set the Registrar Lock for.

Step 2: Managing Registrar Lock

  • Once you are in the domain management area, look for the 'Registrar Lock' option.
  • You will see a toggle switch that allows you to enable or disable the Registrar Lock.

Step 3: Enabling/Disabling the Lock

  • To enable the lock, simply click on the toggle to switch it to the 'On' position.
  • To disable the lock, click the toggle again to switch it to the 'Off' position.

Step 4: Confirming the Changes

  • After toggling the switch, confirm your selection.
  • The system will update your settings, and your domain will now have the Registrar Lock enabled or disabled as per your choice.
Important Note: It's recommended to keep the Registrar Lock enabled unless you are planning to transfer your domain to another registrar. This adds an extra layer of security to your domain.
