We have received several reports regarding slow WordPress admin area / dashboard performance, which we have found is caused by the Litespeed Cache plugin.

We strongly encourage using the Litespeed Cache plugin and its benefits; however, the issue with the slower performance of the backend relates to the 'Object Caching' module of the plugin.

The problem takes place when Litespeed attempts to 'validate' the object cache services - Memcached and Redis. It does this by checking which of the 'extensions' in your PHP are enabled and then attempts a connection to the corresponding service.

Disable the Memcached and Redis PHP Extensions

Go to cPanel -> Select PHP Version -> Extensions -> Deselect 'memcached' and 'redis' from the list of extensions.
